Here is Miss Cale....aka Miss Cabbage.  I think the puppies were about 4 weeks old and I was talking to Deborah and she asked if I had a call name for my puppy.  I told her I was thinking of Cale and she said "you are going to name your puppy after a green leafy vegetable?" so I explained where I came up with the name.  It is from the movie "Dreamer" the little girl in the movie was named Cale and I thought it was a very cool name.  She has been so much fun.  We have done a conformation class and we are getting ready to start obedience class.  She has been swimming and loves that.  I'm sure she is going to be fun in the showring as well.

 

WOW.....it's been a while since I've been to my own site :)  There has been a lot going on since I was here last.  VERY proud to say Cale is now.....

She finished her championship in February of 2011 in Greenville SC and finished her Grand in March of 2012 in Concord NC.  We were one of the 5 invitees to Westminster Kennel Club in NYC this year, and decided to make the trip.  My first time to WKC and NYC, it was an adventure and couldn't have made it without some very good friends going along for support.  Thanks Deborah and Laurel! 

Very sad to say Cale is now spayed, as her hips did not pass OFA.  Really would've loved to had a Cale baby but it wasn't meant to be.  She is still the best girl and is loving her new pond so she can swim and just be a dog and not have to worry about growing hair!!
